This little quilt is a shop sample for Sew ‘n Sew. It is so sweet – each block has an embroidered picture illustrating a nursery rhyme and the rhyme itself is embroidered around the picture. They asked me to not quilt on the embroidery so I did a little feather/shell motif in each corner of the blocks. The sashing is all done with a Terry Twist in a sherbert variegated thread.
I’m not sure how I feel about the unquilted areas from the back ……but we aim to please the customer!

ANOTHER quilt well done, Karen! I know what you mean about the blank space on the back, but it’s hard to say what could have gone there given the design on the front.
