Flower quilting

It may be wet and cold and gloomy outside but for the past three days it’s been bright and flowery in my studio.  First I quilted a really groovy Four Patch Swirl for Corky.  I did a leaf and swirl meander – I got my inspiration from some of the motifs in her fabric and from the backing fabric.

Then I did this Sunflower wallhanging for Maureen.  We took a class from Judy Heyward last summer.  Judy calls her pattern Les Flores Del Sol.

I think I’m going to do one with a Christmas theme next.
