One of the members of my small group did this quilt – it’s a Nancy Halvorsen pattern. Lisa did impecable work on this – her piecing, her applique and machine blanket stitch, and her hand embroidery. The quilt was square and even – I almost didn’t need to pin it before basting it. What a joy to quilt. I’m delivering it to her tomorrow and I sure hope she likes what I did.
Now on to another of my own quilts for the upcoming show – but not tomorrow. I’m meeting with the contractor early in the morning and then have a day planned with Frances (aka “Flossie Mae”). We’re going to the Charleston PPQ to pick up our second Christmas block and then back to her place for some sewing together.
NEWS FLASH!! We’re getting a wintry weather mix of rain/sleet. Brrrr
