Shop Hop Pictures – Day Two

Day Two of the Mountain Quilt Quest Shop Hop found us traveling up and down interstate 79.  Our first stop was Elkins, WV at Elkins Sewing Center.  Elkins is the hometown of my father – he grew up there and then graduated from Davis & Elkins College after serving in WW II.  We then backtracked to Buckhannon, WV to visit a new shop – The Stitching House & Sew Much More, LLC.  A reporter from the Buckhannon Record-Delta was in the shop and interviewed me about the shop hop!  Buckhannon is also home to West Virginia Wesleyan College where Alice Lynn and I went to school.  It was fun to see all the changes to the sleepy little town.  Then we went back up I-79 to Morgantown, WV and visited The Sew Inn, Ltd.  A quick hop back down the interstate to Fairmont, WV and our last shop, Sew Chic, LLC.

Looks like you saw a WIDE variety of things on your shop hop tour, Karen. What fun!
