Spring Retreat

This is the third year that we have held a mini-retreat at St. Christopher’s on Seabrook Island. Jamie’s Lodge is the perfect place for twelve quilting buddies to spend a few glorious spring days sewing, laughing, chatting, eating, and enjoying the wonderful views and the great ambience of a sea island. As usual, I didn’t get pictures of every project but here are some highlights. We walked the beach twice and walked on the island roads two other times. We had a wide range of weather over the four days but were able to stay high and dry and it never rained when we were walking to the dining hall.

Three of us now own wonderful collapsible red wagons which are just the ticket for getting all of our stuff into the sewing and sleeping rooms. I wish I had thought to take a picture of them all lined up in the hallways or parked under Jamie’s lodge.

Love how you had to have an overflow table for the snacks!

Yes, well, part of that was breakfast food since we opted to not eat that meal in the dining hall. But the snacks just kept growing and growing.
